How we
actually
work.

Four operating principles that determine whether we'll be a good fit. We'd rather walk away from a project than violate any of them.

  1. Senior engineers only.
    Every Latimer engineer has at least eight years shipping production software. We don't staff projects with juniors and bill them as seniors.
  2. Small teams, full ownership.
    A Latimer team is two to four engineers, end to end. The person who designed your data model also writes the migrations and watches the dashboards.
  3. Working software, every cycle.
    Demoable output every two weeks. No status decks, no Gantt charts, no integration phases at the end. If we can't show it running, we don't claim it's done.
  4. Boring technology, on purpose.
    We pick the dullest tool that solves the problem. Your platform should still be maintainable when the engineer who wrote it has moved on.
